After three defeats in four games, you can imagine the mood around the Manchester United training ground wasn't great heading into this weekend's fixture against Leicester City.

However, after emphatically seeing off the reigning Premier League champions 4-1 at Old Trafford on Saturday, there will have been a few more smiles at the Red Devils' Carrington training ground today.

And one player who certainly seems to be in high spirits is Jesse Lingard who, judging by his activity on Snapchat on Monday, appears to have spent most of the day winding up fellow United teammates, Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford.

Lingard has always been a pretty active player on social media - we all remember the video he filmed inside the United team bus as it was being attacked by West Ham fans at the end of last season.

And, after that piece of embedded journalism, the 23-year-old has taken it upon himself to get under the skin of some of the biggest names at the club.

Pogba was the first to be on the receiving end of Lingard's shenanigans just as he was tucking into his afternoon meal.

Judging by the look on the Frenchman's face, this isn't the first time Lingard has picked him as his 'victim' for the day.

However, it wasn't only the world's most expensive player who was in Lingard's firing line on Monday. Next up was Rashford who was trolled for his exceptional goal-scoring form as he was innocently trying to walk down a flight of stairs minding his own business.

Lingard is clearly one of the jokers inside the United dressing room and, having put in a solid shift on the right wing against Leicester, the young midfielder has put himself in contention for a bigger role on the field too.

With Jose Mourinho's bold formation and selection against the Foxes paying dividends, fans of the Old Trafford club will also be hoping they have plenty more to smile about over the next few weeks and months.

As for Pogba and Rashford, they'll probably just be hoping to avoid Lingard and his smartphone when they turn up for training on Tuesday.
