Bill Goldberg is going to be returning to WWE this month for a huge feud with Roman Reigns, a new report has claimed.

WWE usually brings all of its top stars to events in Saudi Arabia, and that isn't going to be changing anytime soon.

Fightful Select is reporting that Goldberg is set for an "imminent" return to WWE TV, which will see him wrestle at Elimination Chamber on February 19.

Fightful has learned that the working plan is for Bill Goldberg to return to WWE imminently. The working plan has been for Goldberg to work the upcoming Elimination Chamber event in Saudi Arabia.

WWE is apparently planning on having Goldberg involved in a top title match on the show, as reports have stated that he's going to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal title.

The most recent plans that Fightful had heard of were that Goldberg would be challenging Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship

WWE has wanted to book Goldberg vs. Roman Reigns for several years now, and the match would have happened at WrestleMania 36 in April 2020 had it not been for COVID-19.

The match was scheduled to take place on the show, and had already been announced, but WWE was forced to change plans when Reigns pulled out of the show due to COVID-related concerns.

However, Fightful's report does note that with how much things have been changing within WWE as of late, there's every chance that the creative team changes its plans for Goldberg before his return.

As of right now, there's no word on when exactly Goldberg is going to be returning to TV, but with the show just 15 days away, it could be on tonight's episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

There is also no word on whether or not Goldberg is expected to work a match at WrestleMania 38 in April, but you'd have to expect that WWE would also want him to appear at the show.
