Dying Light 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to Dying Light, but how can you earn Parkour and Combat Points in the game?
There are a number of different ways to earn points in the game, and these can be done either by playing through the main game or side quests.
You can also gain Parkour and Combat Points during open-world sections of the game, and we’ll outline them here for you!
Here’s everything you need to know about earning Parkour and Combat Points in Dying Light 2.
Dying Light 2 Parkour and Combat Points
Between the two, it is arguably easier to earn Parkour points in the game due to the style of gameplay of the new title.
The best way to earn Parkour points in the game is to freerun through the city, ensuring that you earn skill points to upgrade the protagonist via the Parkour Skill Tree.
Make sure that you’re using moves such as sliding, wall-running and jumping so that you get as many unique moves in a single run. Using a variety of different moves ensures that you’ll earn Parkour points at a faster rate to increase the stats on your skill tree.
In terms of Combat Points, there are actually more difficult to acquire in the game, due to the actual meta of the game being more based on stealth.
To earn Combat Points, start a fight with an infected creature or bandit. Anything you do in-game that is combat-based will add experience towards the protagonist’s Combat Skill Tree.
Much like the Parkour Points system, doing more advanced combat moves will give you more Points to advance on the Skill Tree.
With that in mind whenever you do find yourself in combat, make sure that you’re using as many advanced combat moves as possible. These include vault kick, dropkick and air kick, as they will increase your experience points at a far quicker rate than just standard combat moves.
