Frank Warren has told Anthony Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn to focus on sorting out his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk after winning the purse bid for Tyson Fury's clash with Dillian Whyte.

Joshua, 32, was reportedly offered a £15million payday to walk away from his rematch with Usyk so Fury could face the slick southpaw instead for the undisputed championship in Saudi Arabia, but the British heavyweight decided against stepping aside from the fight.

Matchroom chief Hearn has since claimed the Gypsy King wanted a warm-up fight before facing the undefeated Ukrainian.

But Warren believes Hearn should mind his own business as he thinks he has more than enough of his own problems to deal with before he starts worrying about other people's affairs.

Fury's UK-based promoter also cast doubt over the chances of AJ fighting Usyk again.

During an appearance on talkSPORT, he said: “He keeps talking about Tyson not fighting Usyk, I don’t think Joshua will. That’s my opinion.

“I don’t think he fancies that rematch at the moment.

“Hearn has his hands full now, he’s got that fight to get on and why does he keep banging on about what we’re doing for?

“Our fight is going to be on BT Box Office, it’s going to be a great fight to watch. Afterwards, they can go and watch all those shows Eddie [Hearn] is putting on his app.”

Warren also insisted that rival Hearn has nothing to do with Fury's fight with Whyte as he is dealing directly with the latter's legal team.

He continued by saying: “If he [Hearn] had his way, he’d be involved in everything. He’d have your job as well.

“What he had going for him is that he put in the highest ever purse bid, he held the record for putting in the highest ever purse bid… for 10 seconds.

“He should be delighted with that and move on. He says more about the fight than I do and I put the winning bid in.

“We are dealing with Dillian’s lawyer. It’s up to him if he wants to talk, I have no control over him.

“We’ve been informed we have to deal with his lawyer, and that’s what we are doing. We are dealing directly with his lawyer.

“For whatever reason, if he wants to bring Hearn on board, I don’t know why he would, but that’s his choice.

“The fact is there’s no negotiation, he’s getting what’s in the purse bid. That’s it.”
