AJ Styles has spoken about the "great" relationship he has with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.

AJ Styles has probably had a better run with WWE since his debut in 2016 than many fans expected him to have.

Styles has won the WWE Championship twice since arriving in WWE six years ago, and many didn't expect Vince McMahon to take as well as the former NJPW star as he did.

In a new interview with WrestlingInc, Styles has spoken about the "great" relationship he has with his boss.

AJ Styles said that he "loves" working with Vince McMahon, suggesting that a lot of the things he heard about him before working with WWE are not true.

Styles explained that he "gets along great" with the WWE Chairman, stating that you would have any problems if "you're honest" with him:

“I love it,” he said on working with Vince. “So many things I had heard about him in the past, and then I go and meet this man, and we get along great. It’s one of those things if you go up to him and you’re honest, and you’re professional, you have no problems.”

As noted, AJ Styles is a two-time WWE Champion, and he'll be hoping to add another world title to his collection next weekend.

At Elimination Chamber, AJ Styles will be part of the six-man Elimination Chamber match for the WWE title alongside Bobby Lashley, Brock Lesnar, Riddle, Austin Theory and Seth Rollins.

Prior to that, Styles has the chance to become United States Champion again too, as he challenges Damian Priest for the belt on next week's episode of WWE Raw.

With regards to his WrestleMania plans, fans have speculated that WWE is going to finally pull the trigger on a dream match between Styles and Edge at the biggest show of the year in April.
