Rio Ferdinand and Joe Cole were involved in a funny exchange live on BT Sport after Aston Villa’s 3-3 draw against Leeds United on Wednesday night.The former England internationals had just watched one of the best games of the Premier League season so far at Villa Park.Before the end of the programme, the discussion turned to the top-four race and Tottenham’s 3-2 defeat at home to Southampton.Ferdinand said: “What did we say before the game? No-one’s got the consistency. It’s difficult, I mean, [Antonio] Conte will be pulling his hair out.”Rio!It’s no secret that the Tottenham manager has undergone hair transplants since his playing career ended and the Manchester United legend couldn’t resist making a subtle joke at the Italian’s expense.Cole then joined in by adding: “He’s paid a lot for that barnet!”However, the joke soon backfired on the former West Ham and Chelsea star.Ferdinand asked his former West Ham teammate: “Are you doing it, Joe? When you getting yours done?”As Rio burst out laughing, Cole said: “Nah, nah. That’s a liberty - live on BT Sport!”After composing himself, Rio added: “Sorry, sorry. I love you, man.”Cole responded: “I love you, too.”
