Pat McAfee has revealed the line he says on commentary that often ends with him getting "yelled at" by people backstage.

WWE fans have been incredibly impressed with Pat McAfee's performances on commentary for Friday Night SmackDown.

The former NFL star has been on commentary for SmackDown since the week after WrestleMania last year, and has really won over fans with his infectious energy.

Along with his work with WWE, McAfee also hosts his own podcast, the Pat McAfee Show, where his recent guest was former WWE Champion Seth Rollins.

On the show, McAfee referred to Rollins as a 'future WWE Hall of Famer', but he then revealed that he actually gets in trouble for saying that on TV.

McAfee explained that someone in the back, not always Vince McMahon, yells at him for calling people 'future Hall of Famers' on SmackDown, because there's no way to know if that's 100% going to be true:

"Ladies and gentlemen, WWE Future Hall of Famer….by the way, I actually get yelled at every time I say, ‘Future Hall of Famer’ for this person. They’re like….it’s not always Vince (McMahon), it’s somebody that drops in, ‘we don’t know if that’s true or not.’ It’s an amazing time. I try to sneak that in at least once a show to see how many Hall of Famers I can put in there."

On the show, Seth Rollins responded to McAfee's comments by joking that he should call Shanky a "future Hall of Famer", before admitting that he has to stop hating on Shanky.

The interesting thing about this is, Seth Rollins will almost definitely be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame one day, and has probably already done enough to headline his own class when his career is done.
