Conor McGregor has provided a very weird response to a recent tweet by Tyson Fury that demonstrated his support for arch-rival Khabib Nurmagomedov.

It’s been a busy week for combat sports, and so naturally it’s been a busy week for Conor McGregor’s Twitter profile.

Earlier in the week, he was full of praise for Israel Adesanya ahead of his recent fight with Robert Whittaker, however, he seemed to be in a less breezy mood when responding to the reigning heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

Fury took to Twitter on February 1, saying: “This man did it right. Got in and won & got out on top.”

This seemed to have angered McGregor, who had a long-running war of words with Khabib, culminating in the The Eagle brutally smashing The Notorious into a fourth-round submission in their grudge match back in 2018.

The Irishman responded in the early hours of this morning: “Yup the Joyces. Big Joe! U bottled it with Billy joe Da, what were you doing there? U Left him, Versace t*** U.

“Done. Nothing. Ya’s did it right ye right hahahahaaj. Even when I’m wrong, I’m right.

“Who did it right? The Mac daddy tonight, in house. Miami d12! Bahamas #skyjuice”

Fortunately, one Twitter user was kind enough to translate in the replies…

“My respect to Joe Joyce.

“I’d like to point out that you didn’t participate in helping the father of your friend Billy Joe Saunders when a fight broke out in the crowd at his last fight.

“Also, I don’t agree with your professional assessment of Khabib’s career.

“I think my opinion is better than yours, and my assessment is correct.

“I’d put forward that despite Khabib’s choices, I am the ultimate victor as my wealth surpasses his.

“I consider my own aura to be like someone from Miami but I’m actually from Crumlin in Dublin and I’m partying in Barbados currently.

“I’m drinking.”

Oh, we know you were Conor, who also tweeted around the same time: “I’m horny.”
