We now have a potential spoiler on what WWE could be planning for the Universal title match at Elimination Chamber between Goldberg and Roman Reigns.

On last week's episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Goldberg returned to WWE TV for the first time since October to challenge Roman Reigns to a Universal title match.

Goldberg's last match in WWE came at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, and the WWE Hall of Famer challenged Reigns to a match at WWE's next Saudi Arabia show, the Elimination Chamber.

The match was confirmed later on in the show, so unless WWE has a complete change of heart and alters its plans, that's what we are going to be seeing at Elimination Chamber next weekend.

There has been a lot of chatter online about the direction WWE is going to go with for the match, mainly stemming from comments Bully Ray made this week.

The former WWE Superstar suggested that WWE should have Goldberg win the match, only to drop the belt back to Reigns six days later on TV, which you can read more about by clicking here.

However, that doesn't seem like the direction WWE is going to be going down, at least if this potential spoiler is to be believed.

Goldberg is currently slated to appear at the SmackDown taping in New Orleans tonight, with WWE set to tape both this week's show, and next week's go-home show later on today.

However, as Cultaholic notes, the former Universal Champion is not advertised to appear on any WWE shows after Elimination Chamber, suggesting he won't be winning the title from Roman Reigns.

Of course, this isn't to say that he 100% isn't winning the belt, but an educated guess given the local advertisements would be that Goldberg is losing.

Goldberg's deal with WWE is widely expected to be expiring after Elimination Chamber next week, but many expect WWE to work out a deal to have Goldberg wrestle more matches for the company.
