Dean Jones reckons that one of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah or Roberto Firmino will leave Liverpool this summer.

The attacking trio have been a huge part of the Reds' success under Jurgen Klopp in recent years.

However, with all three out of contract at the end of next season, it's opened the door for at least one of them to move on.

What's the latest news with Mane, Salah and Firmino?

Despite failing to hit the heights of previous seasons, the trio remain an important part of Klopp's team and could go some way to deciding how successful this campaign ends up proving for Liverpool.

In all competitions, they've scored 40 goals between them this term, although Salah, who's got 23 of those, remains their best player.

However, Liverpool's attacking options have improved considerably in recent times, meaning Klopp is no longer solely reliant on those three.

Diogo Jota has been in outstanding form when Salah and Mane were away at the Africa Cup of Nations, Harvey Elliott is back from his injury and Luis Diaz was brought in last month. Therefore, Jones reckons that one of their famous front three could end up leaving at the end of the season.

What did Jones say about Liverpool?

He told GIVEMESPORT: "The rise of Jota is going to make Liverpool's transition to a new front three so much smoother. There was always an anxiety attached to the idea of losing Salah, Mane or Firmino.

"But that's not the case anymore. I've heard from a good contact that it's very likely at least one of those three will leave in the next transfer window."

Who's the likeliest of the three to leave?

Despite not yet reaching a breakthrough over his new contract, Liverpool will want to keep Salah at all costs. He remains arguably the best and most influential player in the Premier League, let alone in the Reds' squad.

Mane has also been key in recent years but would appear the likelier of the two wide players to be sold.

Reports from Spain believe that the Africa Cup of Nations winner would be open to leaving the club should one of Barcelona or Real Madrid move to sign him.

That leaves Firmino, who is probably the favourite of the trio to leave Liverpool. The selfless Brazilian has been an incredible servant to the club, but Jota's form since he arrived from Wolves has made him slightly less important.

He has still chipped in with seven goals this season but has only started six of the 14 Premier League games that he's featured in, highlighting his current role in the squad.
