Manchester United are one of the biggest football clubs in the world.

The Red Devils have won trophies galore throughout the course of their 144-year history and have played home to some of the sport's most famous names - including Cristiano Ronaldo.

United also possess one of the best stadiums on the planet, but it seems the catering services at the famous Old Trafford don't match the quality of the ground itself.

Prior to the team's home Premier League match against Southampton on Saturday afternoon, BT Sport presenter Jake Humphrey shared an image of the lunch he was given in the studio.

To say it was shocking would be something of an understatement...

Scrambled egg, mashed potato and some stale-looking bread? Yeah, that doesn't look appetising one bit. There should never be that much beige in one meal!

Humphrey then decided to fire more shots in United's direction by sharing an image of the lunch BT Sport staff were given at the home of their fierce rivals Manchester City, accompanied with a caption that read: "PS - How your neighbours do it."

Sadly, Humphrey has since deleted both tweets and after doing that, the presenter uploaded an image to Twitter of another meal given to him at Old Trafford on Saturday, which you can see below.

It turns out there is food that can match the quality of the ground after all!

Away from the catering services at Old Trafford, United were held to a 1-1 draw by Southampton in yet another blow to their top four aspirations.

Jadon Sancho gave the Red Devils the lead in the opening half, his first Premier League goal at Old Trafford, but the Red Devils were unable to build on their advantage in the second period.

Che Adams scored a deserved equaliser for the Saints just after the break, a strike that has further increased the pressure on Ralf Rangnick and the United players.
