Kai Havertz scored a dramatic late penalty as Chelsea were crowned champions of the world on Saturday evening.

Chelsea were the favourites going into their Club World Cup final against Palmeiras. They were looking to become world champions for the first time in their history.

But they were taken to extra-time by the Brazilian outfit, with Romelu Lukaku's opener being cancelled out by Raphael Veiga's spot-kick.

The game went to extra-time and Chelsea were given the opportunity to win it when they were given a spot-kick of their own in the 117th minute.

And Havertz made no mistake from the spot to give Chelsea the victory.

Antonio Rudiger played the full game and he was at his brilliant best.

There is no one in world football quite like Rudiger and he proved once again that he's one of a kind with his reaction to Havertz's winner.

Rudiger was on his knees near the halfway line and it looked as if he couldn't watch as Havertz stepped up.

After Havertz dispatched his penalty, Rudiger then suddenly got to his feet and sprinted as fast as he could to celebrate with his teammates by the corner.

But that's not all. Additional footage shows Rudiger randomly picking up a chair in the celebrations.

He throws it back after Jorginho's intervention before deciding to swing a punch at the corner flag.

Rudiger really is a lunatic. You've got to love what a character he is.

Chelsea fans have been enjoying his passion and you can view some reaction below...

Rudiger may not be a Chelsea player much longer as his contract runs out in the summer.

There have been reports suggesting that Rudiger is open to staying but Chelsea have not yet made an offer which satisfies his demands.

It goes without saying that Chelsea need to keep the colossal centre-back. He has been fantastic under Thomas Tuchel as he has established himself as one of the best centre-backs in the world.

He would be a massive loss for Chelsea should he depart.
