The feud between Tyson Fury and Conor McGregor has been gathering steam in recent days and fans have been following in their swarms as the two superstars go at it over Twitter.

It all began with McGregor taking issue with Fury after the Morecambe-born man publicly showed his support for Khabib Nurmagomedov, McGregor’s arch-rival.

A bizarre response from the Irishman then started a war of words between the two giants of the fight world, that could be likened to a playground spat back in their school days.

But regardless, it’s hilarious!

In the latest instalment of Fury vs McGregor, Tyson has aimed to hit close to home…

The heavyweight champion tweeted: “@TheNotoriousMMA has done more tapping than MJ’s old dance shoes.”

McGregor has tapped out on four occasions in his career, most recently to Khabib Nurmagomedov back in 2018, sore subject Conor?

Fans have been divided in the comments, with many UFC loyalists jumping to the Irishman’s support, meanwhile the boxing fanatics have been firmly behind their heavyweight champion.

It’s a shame these two are so far apart in terms of weight classes, because the superfight that could have stemmed from this would surely have become one of the most electrifying fights the world has ever seen.

Fury is currently preparing for his recently confirmed fight with Dillian Whyte. As of yet, a date is yet to be announced, although April 23 is rumoured to be the most likely option.

Significantly for British fans, Fury has confirmed that the bout will take place in the UK.

On the other hand, McGregor looks to potentially have retired from the UFC and if not, is certainly taking an extended break from the sport.

He has recently been partying in Barbados and is living it up in true McGregor fashion if his socials are anything to go by.
