Football News

NFL week three is nearing its end and we have been witness to some incredible games over the weekend.

As has become custom, that means we also have our plays of the week post, which is now being broken up into catches and rushes. So, without further ado, here are the top five receptions from the third week of NFL action. Scroll down to watch the video.

5. CJ Mosley

Kicking off proceedings is the incredible interception by the Baltimore Ravens linebacker CJ Mosley. Reading Blake Bortles' eyes perfectly, Mosley tracks the ball and manages to somehow come down with it with just one hand. An excellent play from one of the league's best young linebackers.

4. Kevin White

Thanks to injury, we haven't really gotten to see all that much from the former first rounder. But White let everyone know who he is on Sunday Night Football as he hauled in this beauty from Brian Hoyer. The pass would surely have been intercepted if not for White's heroics. Let's hope he can build on it.

3. Odell Beckham Jr

Of course the golden boy made the list. Beckham was matched up against his big rival, Josh Norman, and came out of the clash on top, despite the Giants losing to the Redskins. As he always does, OBJ came down with a superb one-handed grab that defied most physics.

2. Patrick Peterson

The second interception on the list is one that you will be seeing for quite some time. Peterson is probably the best cornerbacks in the league right now and he showed it in the Cardinals loss to the Bills. Tyrod Taylor looks like he purposely overthrows this pass but Peterson somehow still makes the incredible one-handed play on it. A round of applause for Pat P.

1. Doug Baldwin

Coming in at number one is the Seahawks star, who laid flat out to haul in this beauty. It may have only been a 12-yard catch but hot damn that is impressive.
