Tai Tuivasa celebrated his stunning knockout victory over Derrick Lewis by managing to convince Dana White to drink from a shoe backstage at UFC 271.

Tuivasa, 28, knocked out Lewis in the second round of their all-action heavyweight clash at the Toyota Center.

The Aussie star found himself fighting for survival early in the first round but fought back valiantly later on before stopping Lewis with a sickening elbow from a Muay Thai clinch in brutal fashion.

Afterwards, 'Bam Bam' celebrated with a customary 'shoey' before going off for medical checks.

Tuivasa then shared a beer with White, which he made him drink through his own special version shoe.

BT Sport's official UFC Twitter account reuploaded footage on social media originally taken from Tuivasa's company 'Shoeyvasa', accompanied by the following caption: 'The President of the Shoey meets the President of the UFC'.

The video has currently been viewed over 16,000 times at the time of writing.

Canadian YouTube group the Nelk Boys can also be seen filming in the background.

Tuivasa has won each of his last five fights in the UFC, all by way of knockout.

He said: "I feel good. Even better that the boss did a shoey out of my 'Shoevasa', you know what I mean, so it's a win-win for me.

"I thought I did well. Come to Houston, got a few boos at the start, but we ended in cheers, so it's all good.

"It was definitely a surprise, but this is MMA, this is the sport.

"We had a bit of a swang and a bang and we had a bit of a wrestle as well so, mixed martial arts, here we go.

"I don't really mind. I don't mind being the guy who drinks piss out of shoes and this and that.

“I suppose everyone just focused on this and that, but at the end of the day, I’m knocking the best in the world out.”
