It's advantage Paris Saint-Germain as the French side earned a 1-0 victory against Real Madrid in their Champions League last-16 first leg.

PSG vs Real Madrid was always going to be the standout tie of the entire Round of 16 draw and all eyes were on the Parc des Princes on Tuesday night as the two heavyweights clashed.

The home side did all the pressing as they looked to take a lead to the second leg at the Bernabeu.

But it looked as though PSG had missed their best opportunity to take the lead when Lionel Messi saw a penalty saved by Thibaut Courtois.

Step forward, Kylian Mbappe.

In the final minute of injury-time, the Frenchman beat a couple of Real Madrid defender before finishing past Courtois.

What a big goal that could prove to be.

While Mbappe will get all the headlines - and deservedly so - we wanted to highlight another PSG star for the role he played in the victory.

We're talking about Neymar.

The Brazilian hasn't played since November due to injury problems.

But he was back in the squad for the clash against Real Madrid. While he wasn't fit enough to start, Neymar was introduced in the 72nd-minute replacing Angel Di Maria.

And he may well have changed the match.

He received an incredible reception before going on to produce a brilliant cameo in his 20 minutes. He ran at the Real Madrid defence on countless occasions and clearly unnerved them.

He can also claim the assist for Mbappe's goal - although it was more of an individual effort than Neymar putting it on the plate for him.

But Neymar is back and he reminded everyone just how good he still is.

Check out his individual highlights below:

With the second leg not taking place until March 9, Neymar will be hoping he's fit enough to start the match in Spain as the French side look to book their place in the quarter-finals.

With Mbappe, a fit Neymar and the small matter of Messi, nobody will be writing PSG off just yet.
