The Paris Saint-Germain boss has been tipped to replace Ralf Rangnick at the end of the season, and Jones expects him to target the Tottenham striker should he be installed in the Old Trafford dugout.
What is the latest news involving Pochettino and Kane?
Both Pochettino and Kane, who enjoyed a great relationship during their time at Tottenham together, have been linked with United.
According to The Telegraph, United players are pushing for Pochettino to succeed Rangnick and want him to be their next manager.
The same outlet also claims that if the Argentine gets the job, he will urge the club to bring Kane to Old Trafford.

What has Jones said about Pochettino and Kane?
Jones has told GIVEMESPORT that Kane could indeed end up at Old Trafford if Pochettino is appointed United boss.
Speaking to GMS, the transfer insider said: “The two had an unbelievable relationship. When Pochettino got the PSG job, Harry Kane was seen as a potential PSG player. There would be a big chance that Harry Kane ends up at Man United [if Pochettino is appointed].”
Should United try and sign Kane?
Yes. While Kane is not having the best season by his standards, scoring seven goals in the Premier League this term, his overall record in English football’s top flight shows that he would be a great acquisition for United.
“This is obvious. Edinson’s contract is running out in the summer and the club needs the best possible centre-forward. I think everyone is aware of that,” Rangnick recently said in a press conference as he discussed United’s need to sign a new No.9 before the start of next season.
You would expect Daniel Levy, however, to once again play hardball over any potential transfer. Kane is worth a lot of money and is not the kind of centre-forward that will be easy to replace, so getting him out of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium could be a tricky task for United, as it was for City.
