Micah Richards asked: “Peter: do you honestly believe that Man United can win the Champions League? Be honest with me now. No messing around…”

Man Utd need a miracle to win Champions League

Let’s face it: it would be a miracle if United won the Champions League this season.

Unlike City, PSG, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Europe’s other top clubs, Man Utd are far from a well-oiled machine and it would be a big achievement if they even manage to advance to the quarter-finals past Atletico.

That said, we have seen plenty of shocks in the Champions League in past seasons, so the prospect of Schmeichel having the last laugh can’t be completely ruled out.
