The West Ham midfielder continues to be linked with a move away from the London Stadium, and United are one Premier League outfit who are thought to be interested in his signature.
What is the latest news involving Rice and Pogba?
United, Manchester City and Chelsea are all keen on snatching Rice away from West Ham, reports The Telegraph.
According to them, the Hammers are braced for summer bids for their vice-captain, who has made it clear that he wants to win trophies.
“I’ve always said it, I don’t want to have a career where I’ve won nothing,” Rice recently said in an interview with Gary Neville for The Overlap podcast (via Evening Standard).
“I’ve grown up as a kid seeing all these top players win the big trophies, Premier League and Champions League. As a football fan and player I want to win the best stuff.”
As for Pogba, he could be heading out of Old Trafford. The Frenchman is out of contract in the summer, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that he is yet to make a decision on his future, so an exit is more than possible.

What has Jones said about Rice and Pogba?
Jones has told GIVEMESPORT that United could consider investing Pogba’s wages into any potential deal for Rice should the France international end up leaving the club at the end of the season.
Speaking to GMS, the football journalist said: “I’ve looked into the Declan Rice situation a bit further and Man United are tempted to invest Paul Pogba’s wages into a deal for him.
“We’re still some way from this transfer pursuit being pushed into action but there are a couple of influential figures at the club who, I’m told, have never been more convinced they should be signing him.”
Will it be one in, one out at United this summer?
Unlikely. Everything is pointing towards there being a complete midfield overhaul at United before the start of next season. And while it does look like Pogba will leave Old Trafford, Rice arriving is far from a certainty given City and Chelsea’s interest and the fact that West Ham will probably be reluctant to sell for less than their £100m valuation.
The Red Devils have also been heavily linked with Aston Villa’s John McGinn and RB Leipzig’s Amadou Haidara, with Ralf Rangnick thought to be a big fan of the latter after working with him in Germany.
Taking all of that into account, it looks like United could bring in more than one midfielder in the next transfer window and allow a couple to go.
