The next promo in FIFA 22 calendar, Road to the Final (RTTF), has arrived!

A real fan-favourite of a promo, RTTF is an excellent opportunity for players to make, or in contrast - lose, lots of hard-earned coins.

Road to the Final boasted some insane players last year with Timo Werner, Mohamed Salah, Marcus Rashford and Antoine Griezmann being some of the stand-out names.

What is the 'Road to the Final' promo?

The Road to the Final promo sees players competing in the Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League given a 'live' special card.

Depending on what stage of the tournament their respected sides get through to, they receive an upgrade which boosts their rating and stats.

For example - Mason Mount obtained a 90 rated card last year in FIFA 21, as Chelsea ran out eventual winners of the competition.

How do the upgrades work?

All Road To The Final items start with an upgrade at the launch of the event. From there, the player’s Road To The Final item receives a further upgrade each time their team succeeds at select stages throughout the tournament.

Here are all the other constituencies you need to know about the cards going off previous years information:

  • Road To The Final players do not need to be selected or have played in each stage to receive an upgrade.
  • If a player is no longer on the roster of a club in either tournament, they will not receive any further upgrades.
  • If a player’s team gets knocked out of either tournament, they will no longer receive any upgrades. 
  • Road To The Final items can take up to a few days to update in-game.
