UFC fighter Conor McGregor has been drug tested four times by USADA already this year after piling on the pounds, according to The Sun.

The Notorious weighs the most he ever has and decided to put on the muscle after he broke his leg in the trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier last July.

The Irishman admitted late last November that the time he had spent in the gym helped him push his weight up to 86kg.

However, the new look Conor caught the eye of the United States Anti-Doping Agency and received four visits in just eight weeks from them.

UFC commentator Joe Rogan believed that McGregor would have a visit from the USADA and had this to say on his podcast last December: “That’s him now, super jacked.

"USADA is going to take a visit to him real soon. It’s a weird picture.

"He’s definitely jacked but it looks to me he’s in the middle of lifting. If you see a guy's body in the middle of lifting it’s a little deceptive."

McGregor’s head coach John Kavanagh has no worries that Conor will be able to shift the extra muscle, however, as he's said: “I don't think it will be all that difficult, to be honest.

"He has made some pretty dramatic weight cuts in the past.

"155lbs seems to suit his frame, at the moment yeah light heavyweight he is more suited towards, but by the summertime when he is ready to return, the weight will be back down again.

"The physical stage of recovery is pretty much complete now.

"He has been enjoying himself over Christmas, but he is ready to get back to that serious side of training and get ready for another contest."

McGregor looks to get back into the Octagon this year as Dana White said he is eyeing up for a return in April, which would see the Irishman fight for the first time since breaking his tibia and fibula in July.
