This Saturday night WWE hold their second Premium Live Show of the year with Elimination Chamber 2022.

GiveMeSport takes a look at the card and predicts what might happen at the Jeddah Super Dome tomorrow evening.

The Usos vs. The Viking Raiders

SmackDown Tag Team Championships

I quite like the Viking Raiders. They are a ‘proper’ tag team with a unique look and move set that takes you back to the good old days of tag team wrestling. Unfortunately for them, they are coming up against one the best tag teams of the modern era and one that is slap bang in the middle of SmackDown’s premiere angle. Until there are some cracks in The Bloodline - and that’s not looking likely anytime soon - The Usos are staying tag champs and holding those number ones in the air.

Winners: The Usos

Drew McIntyre vs. Madcap Moss (w/Baron Corbin)

Falls Count Anywhere

This fun run with Happy Corbin has been quite the upgrade for Moss, who finds himself in a major singles match on a big premium live show for the very first time. It’s obvious that he’s in this spot to be fodder for Drew in his feud with Corbin, but it’s refreshing to see a new name added to the mix. No doubt he’ll get some chance to shine against McIntyre, what with Corbin on hand to help, but really this bout is The Scottish Warrior throwing Madcap all over the Jeddah Super Dome in the night’s spot-fest match. Continuing McIntyre’s rebuild on SmackDown and adding more fuel to his probably final act with Happy Corbin in Dallas at WrestleMania.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

Rey Mysterio (w/Dominik Mysterio) vs. The Miz (w/Maryse)

Two former multi-time world champions in a rivalry that’s been quickly built-up on Raw and added to the event’s card. The Miz, as always has garnered some great heat over the past weeks - including an amusing nod to Eddie Guerrero and the classic custody battle story from the 2000s - but you get the feeling this is a match just to get Rey Mysterio on the card in Saudi Arabia. There is a feeling that a breakdown or even full turn from Dominink is coming at some point, but I don’t think it’s just yet and I don’t think it’s on this show.

Winner: Rey Mysterio

Ronda Rousey and Naomi vs. Charlotte Flair and Sonya Neville

On paper this looks like a throwaway tag team bout just to heat-up the big SmackDown Women’s Title match at WrestleMania between Rousey and Flair, however it’s a bout with a lot more intrigue. For one, it’s Rousey’s first proper outing since her return at Royal Rumble and a chance to see if she can work the baby face role in her feud with The Queen. Add in the nicely built saga between Naomi and Deville - which has been well intertwined into this story - then it’s one that offers more then on first glance.

Unfortunately, the ultimate result in this one doesn’t offer the same interest. They need to showcase Rousey and expect her to get the pin on Deville to secure victory for her team.

Winners: Ronda Rousey and Naomi

Becky Lynch vs. Lita

Raw Women’s Championship

There’s nothing more than the Saudi audience like then a returning WWE legend and this match marks Lita’s first singles bout since 2006. Don’t’ expect this one to go long, and there will be some obvious ring rust from the challenger. However, as long as we get Lita’s greatest hits and a near fall on the champ before Becky ultimately prevails against her idol, then I think we’re all in for a fun nostalgic match-up.

Winner: Becky Lynch

Roman Reigns vs. Goldberg

Universal Championship

The notion that Roman Reigns has said he’s going to ‘Goldberg, Goldberg’ is an interesting one and I wonder if the plan here is for Roman to make quick work of the Hall of Famer, in ways we’ve seen Goldberg do in the past. There is no danger in this match going long anyway (such is the makeup of Goldberg matches) but given how we’re building to WrestleMania’s big main event, does Reigns run through the challenger in a way that Goldberg did on his return against Brock Lesnar, to really hammer home his dominance at the head of the table. Adding another name to the impressive list of victims in his Universal Title reign.

Winner: Roman Reigns

Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair vs. Doudrop vs. Nikki A.S.H. vs. Alexa Bliss

Elimination Chamber for a WWE Raw Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania

Quite the talented field for this first chamber bout, but it’s hard to see past one obvious winner. Becky Lynch needs a big match on her WrestleMania return and there’s no story bigger or no profile more fitting right now than Bianca Belair finally avenging her SummerSlam defeat to Big Time Becks. There is a wildcard in Alexa Bliss and the company, quite rightly has big stock her and the story of her path back from the darkside. However, I believe her involvement will be more around that transformation and possibly setting up her next feud, rather than winning the actual match. This one has EST written all over it for me.

Winner: Bianca Belair

Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar vs. Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins vs. Riddle vs. AJ Styles vs. Austin Theroy

Elimination Chamber for WWE Championship

This is going to go one of two ways and it’s difficult to call what way WWE will end up going. The ultimate goal in this match is to keep Lesnar looking strong ahead of his WrestleMania date with Roman Reigns. Therefore, Brock is either going to win his first Elimination Chamber match or he’s going to be screwed out of by Reigns and The Bloodline - there’s no way he’s getting cleaning pinned and eliminated.

If Lesnar wins, we’re heading for a title vs. title bout at WrestleMania, which reportedly Vince McMahon is in favour of and would even more layers to Mania’s main event. If The Beast is thwarted, I can only see either Bobby Lashley or Seth Rollins as the other contenders holding the gold going into the big one in Dallas. With the possibility of meeting a retuning Cody Rhodes in the offing.

Winner: Brock Lesnar
