Journalist Pete O'Rourke reckons that Paulo Dybala would be a "really good signing" for Tottenham this summer.

The 32-cap Argentina international was heavily linked with a move to North London more than two years ago when Mauricio Pochettino was in charge and could become an option for Spurs once again, with his contract expiring this summer.

What's the latest news involving Dybala?

With Dybala's contract up at the end of the season, the once-valued £99m attacker's quality means that he's likely to have a host of top European clubs interested in his signature.

In just under 300 Juventus appearances, he's scored an impressive 112 goals and chipped in with 48 assists, with 18 of those goal contributions coming in just 27 outings this term.

Therefore, with Tottenham lacking an out and out creative player in the final third, Alasdair Gold believes that Fabio Paratici would be keen on reuniting with Dybala, providing he doesn't extend his stay with the Old Lady.

Antonio Conte's first two signings as Spurs manager were players from Juventus, with Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur joining on deadline day. Both of those have already had an impact with the Swede scoring the opener in Tottenham's stunning win over Manchester City on Saturday.

And O'Rourke reckons that Dybala linking up with his former teammates would be a great addition for Conte and Spurs.

What did O'Rourke say about Dybala?

He told GIVEMESPORT: "If Spurs could lure somebody like that to the club I think it would be a really good signing. He's not an out and out striker, he can play behind the front man, in a number 10 role or alongside Harry Kane."

Do Tottenham need Dybala?

Reports emerged on Friday that both Harry Kane and Conte's futures at the club could depend on how Spurs fare in the summer window.

Both are extremely ambitious and are unlikely to commit their futures to the club unless Tottenham bring in some serious signings. Kulusevski and Bentancur were a good start for Conte, but Dybala is exactly the type of player that has the ability to take Spurs to the next level once again.

If he doesn't sign a new contract and is therefore available on a free transfer, they're unlikely to have a free run at his signature, but the Tottenham faithful will be hoping that Paratici's Juventus connections and the pull of Conte will see the 28-year-old end up in North London next season.
