The developers of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga have released behind-the-scenes footage highlighting the developmental process of the game.
Traveller’s Tales (TT) have been given the responsibility of making this eagerly anticipated Lego-themed action-adventure game, which is being published by Warner Bros.
TT have been responsible for the last five Lego Star Wars titles over the course of 17 years and this upcoming title will be the sixth under their watch, with the emphasis being on all nine films of the main Star Wars saga.
As the scheduled April release date edges closer, Warner Bros provided fans of the series with further insight into what has been going on away from the cameras since the developmental process began.
From the Phantom Menace to The Rise of Skywalker, this game aims to capture all of these classic movies from almost 30 years of filmmaking into one humorous and entertaining game.
Behind-The-Scenes Look at Skywalker Saga
Despite the obvious delays and the years of development, Warner Bros finally showed the world what they have been up to with an intriguing look into the making of Skywalker Saga and the efforts that have gone into bringing it alive.
One humorous feature that was revealed was that weapon sounds can be changed to mouth noises, so quite literally they will sound like “pew pew” as many Star Wars have mimicked over the years.
Here is the full footage that Warner Bros Games released:
As you can see, everyone that spoke during the trailer is a huge fan of the series itself, and it shows!
LucasFilm granted developers access to the full extensive artwork which helped them craft the animations and backgrounds of some of the most iconic locations and ships across the franchise.
Lego Star Wars games have always provided an entertaining twist on the films themselves, and we are expecting Skywalker Saga to do the same.
