Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge has revealed he is ‘sure’ clubs will look at Rangers attacking duo Joe Aribo and Ryan Kent in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Both players have become crucial cogs for the Glasgow giants in recent years but have been linked with moves to the Premier League in recent times after entering the final 18 months of their current contracts.

What is the latest news involving Aribo and Kent?

Aribo has registered 46 goal contributions in 130 appearances for the Gers since arriving from Charlton Athletic in 2019, playing a pivotal part in their Scottish Premiership victory last term.

The Nigeria international’s eye-catching exploits have reportedly attracted the attention of several sides south of the border, though, with Watford and Brentford believed to be amongst his potential suitors.

But it’s Crystal Palace who appear to be in the driving seat for his signature. According to The Sun, the south London outfit are lining up a £10 million offer for Aribo after identifying him as Conor Gallagher’s replacement.

Meanwhile, Kent has established himself as one of the SPFL’s most clinical forwards following his arrival on an initial season-long loan move from Liverpool in 2018.

The 25-year-old has racked up 69 goal contributions across 156 outings for the Gers since then and has been tipped to follow former manager Steven Gerrard to Aston Villa when the market re-opens.

A report in the Daily Record has previously credited the Midlands outfit with an interest in Kent, and Rangers may be forced to part ways with two of their most prodigious talents.

What has Bridge said about Aribo and Kent?

Bridge is confident that both Kent and Aribo will attract admiring glances from several clubs this summer after a string of outstanding performances for the reigning Scottish champions.

He told GiveMeSport: “I do expect Kent, and I do expect to Aribo to get interest. I really do. I know you've touched on Aribo before with Palace, and I'm sure clubs will look at him. He's a really, really, really good player.”

Will Rangers sell Aribo and Kent?

Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst addressed Aribo and Kent’s contract situations in a recent press conference, stating that talks over new deals for the pair will begin soon.

"That’s something the club will do in the near future. We must make sure we have the future well planned,” the Dutch tactician revealed.

"Of course, these are players who are very important for our team, so the talks will begin.”

Only time will tell if Aribo and Kent decide to commit their futures to Rangers, but if they refuse to put pen to paper on fresh terms, then the Ibrox outfit may have no choice but to sanction their exits following the conclusion of 2021/22.
