Mohamed Salah: Liverpool star’s incredible dribbling skills shown in video

Mohamed Salah is sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League’s Golden Boot race.

With five goals separating him from teammate Diogo Jota in the second rung of the rankings, the Egyptian looks a firm favourite to storm away with the award this season.

That is made even more convincing by the Liverpool forward’s relentless hunger to continue to add goals to his record, with the 29-year-old once again getting on the scoresheet this weekend in Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Norwich.

And while he is being touted by many as currently one of the best goal scorers in world football, Salah clearly has more than one string to his bow, ranking just behind teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold as the league’s second-best assist-maker so far this season.

Should Salah continue to find the back of the net and set up his teammates, he could join an illustrious club of players who have won both the Premier League’s Golden Boot award and have provided the most assists in a single season.

That group includes the likes of Robin van Persie, Didier Drogba and Thierry Henry, who is notably the only player to have ever scored more than 20 goals and amassed over 20 assists in a single league season in the English top flight.

With 13 games left to play, the Liverpool forward will need to amass another three goals and 11 assists to trump Henry’s unique record, and that might seem an arduous task for many other footballers.

But for Salah, there is a genuine chance that the Liverpool winger could level or even break Henry’s record, and that has been evidenced in a compilation video going viral on Twitter.

Posted by user @PassLikeThiago, the montage entitled ‘Mo Salah without G/A – 21/22′ shows the Egyptian superstar’s insane dribbling abilities tying several defenders’ legs in knots.

The clip, which you can check out below, also shows that the elite ball user should probably have added a few more assists to his tally by now, with Liverpool’s forward line squandering several genius passes played into the box by Salah, including an outside foot cross.

Salah’s skills really are otherworldly.

There aren’t many players in the Premier League or even world football that can turn defenders inside out like he can.

For that reason, he has earned the plaudits of Arsenal legend Henry, who is perhaps one of the greatest strikers to ever grace the top-flight.

“I like his movement, he always wants to go in behind,” he said on Sky Sports, per Goal.

“There’s no step-overs, there’s no trying to nutmeg, there’s no skills for no reason.

“He’s going at you, if you’re ready or not, that’s your problem.”

And it’s hard to not agree with the French pundit, there’s no wonder why Liverpool fans are constantly singing Salah’s name.
