UFC Vegas 49 is set to take place on Saturday 26th February 2022, but what are the fights that will be taking place on the card?

There are a few anticipated bouts set to take place on Fight Night, with a top Lightweight contender doing battle in a Catchweight contest.

Fights that are currently scheduled seem to be heavily leaning towards the smaller weight divisions overall, so it should be a fast-paced night of action!

  • Ramiz Brahimaj vs Micheal Gillmore – Welterweight Bout
  • Alejandro Perez vs Jonathan Martinez – Bantamweight Bout
  • Jinh Yu Frey vs Hannah Goldy – Women’s Strawweight Bout
  • Terrance McKinney vs Fares Ziam – Lightweight Bout
  • Josiane Nunes vs Wu Yanan – Women’s Bantamweight Bout
  • Zhu Rong vs Ignacio Bahamondes – Lightweight Bout

UFC Vegas 49 Main Card – SUN, FEB 27 / 12:00 AM GMT

  • Armen Petrosyan vs Gregory Rodrigues – Middleweight Bout
  • Arman Tsarukyan vs Joel Alvarez – Lightweight Bout

As is usually the case, it is worth noting that fight cards are subject to change at any time due to injury or COVID-19 protocols.

Islam Makhachev was originally scheduled to face Beneil Dariush on the night, which was a massively anticipated Lightweight bout.

Unfortunately. Dariush had to withdraw from the fight due to a broken fibula. 

ESPN reporter Brett Okamoto posted an update on social media regarding the fighter on Tuesday 22nd February 2022, saying: “Per Beneil Dariush, he has visited four physicians regarding his broken fibula. 

“Three suggested physical therapy, one advised surgery. As of now, he is going with PT and trying to avoid surgery. Still no firm timeframe on his return, but no surgery is good news.”
