Arsenal pulled off one of the most dramatic wins of the 2021/22 Premier League season on Thursday evening.
Going into the final 10 minutes of their crucial clash against top four rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers, Mikel Arteta's side trailed 1-0 thanks to Hee-Chan Hwang's early strike.
The South Korean forward capitalised on a poor backpass from Gabriel Magalhaes, rounded Aaron Ramsdale and rolled the ball into the back of the net from a tight angle.
For a while it looked as if that would be the winning goal on the night, but Arsenal finally managed to find an equaliser in the 82nd-minute through second half substitute Nicolas Pepe.
The Ivorian latched onto a ball into the box from Eddie Nketiah, swivelled like prime Dennis Bergkamp and then beat Jose Sa in the Wolves goal.
Unsurprisingly, the Emirates was rocking after the equaliser and Arsenal fed off the passion from the crowd to in order to keep going and somehow find a winner - which they did in the 96th-minute.
Alexandre Lacazette's shot from inside the area found its way into the back of the net via Sa's glove to seal a potentially season-defining win for the Gunners.

Absolute scenes! That win has moved Arsenal up to fifth in the Premier League table and they're now just a point behind Manchester United with two games in hand.
The celebrations in the crowd at the Emirates were wild and Ramsdale also couldn't hold in his joy over the result once the full-time whistle had been blown.
And as he ran up the pitch with his arms flailing, the Arsenal goalkeeper appeared to get some revenge by celebrating right in front of Ruben Neves, the player who criticised Arteta's team for going a bit overboard after their recent 1-0 victory at Molineux.

You cheeky boy, Aaron. But to be fair, Neves probably deserved a bit of backlash for needlessly calling out a team who celebrated a hard-fought victory with 10 men.

That victory really could prove to be decisive in Arsenal's quest to qualify for next season's Champions League and the fans know it.
The Gunners now have a prolonged break until their next Premier League match away at relegation-threatened Watford on March 6th.
After that, they play both Leicester City and Liverpool at the Emirates in the space of just four days. That will certainly be a huge, huge test for this young Arsenal side.
