Reports have claimed that Vince McMahon will be having a match at WWE WrestleMania 38 in April, but fans are simply not buying it. Over the weekend, the wrestling world was shocked by the reports that Vince McMahon will be returning to the ring after just shy of ten years for a match at WrestleMania 38.The news was surprising in itself, considering that Vince McMahon turns 77 this year, but perhaps more surprising was the news of who his opponent will be.The report claimed that McMahon will be wrestling Pat McAfee, who as of right now, has only wrestled two matches, both of which came in 2020.

Despite the report coming from POST Wrestling and being corroborated by Dave Meltzer, both reliable sources, fans simply aren't believing the news.

As you can see below, some fans are simply not buying into the reports 76-year-old is five weeks away from making a shock return to the ring.

Other fans believed the reports, but suggested that Vince McMahon may bring in someone to replace him right before the match, meaning he won't actually wrestle.

Fans speculated that Austin Theory, who has been paired with Vince on TV since October, and even a returning Cody Rhodes could be placed into that role.

Despite fans suggesting it won't happen, due to just how surprising the news is, all reports suggest that the match is 100% happening, as of right now, at the big show in April.

Of course, things can change very quickly in the world of WWE, so nothing is official until it's confirmed by WWE, but reports suggest that the feud between McAfee and McMahon will start this week.
