A hilarious moment between Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman was captured by a fan after WWE SmackDown went off the air last week.

After last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown went off the air, Roman Reigns and The Usos stayed in the ring to compete in a dark match.

The Bloodline competed against The Viking Raiders and Drew McIntyre in a six-man tag team match for the live crowd.

While the match was likely pretty good, it was an exchange that actually took place between Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman on the outside of the ring that caught fans’ attention.

During the dark match, a fan at ringside started insulting Heyman, so Roman Reigns decided to console his special counsel.

As can be seen below, the Universal Champion went to the outside of the ring and gave a dejected Paul Heyman a supportive cuddle, which the crowd absolutely loved.

Roman Reigns has been praised from all sides of the wrestling sphere for his promo on last week’s episode of SmackDown.

Ahead of his match at WrestleMania with Brock Lesnar, which WWE is calling the biggest ‘Mania match of all time, Reigns shared the ring with ‘The Beast’ on last week’s show.

The pair had a contract signing, and it was Lesnar’s passionate promo that really caught fans’ attention and got people talking online after the show.

Roman Reigns is preparing for a very big few weeks in WWE, which will likely come to a head at WrestleMania 38 in April.

It’s plausible that in just under five weeks’ time, Reigns will be both the WWE and Universal Champions, ending the biggest pay-per-view of the year with both belts.

Some have even speculated that Roman Reigns could be confronted by The Rock to close out the show on April 3, but it remains to be seen whether or not that’ll actually happen
