There was another tease from Edge pertaining to the WWE return of Cody Rhodes on Monday Night Raw last night, but it seems to have gone under the radar.Last month, it was reported that Cody Rhodes had left AEW after failing to agree to a new contract, which Tony Khan confirmed shortly thereafter.Following that initial report, additional reports claimed that Cody had been in talks with WWE over a sensational return following his departure from the company in 2016.Reports stated that the talks were likely going to lead to Rhodes coming in ahead of WrestleMania 38, with the former AEW star even wrestling on the show.

On the episode of Monday Night Raw after the news broke (February 21), both Edge and The Miz alluded to Cody coming into the company during the show.

On the face of it, there weren't any teases for Cody on last night's show, but a subtle one seems to have gone under the radar.

During his promo on last night's show, Edge challenged members of the WWE roster to 'step up' and answer his WrestleMania challenge, before he was confronted by AJ Styles.

While starting off his promo, Edge mentioned that his 'roads to WrestleMania' would become clearer, which many believe was a subtle nod to Cody Rhodes' imminent arrival.

WWE Superstars typically speak about the 'Road to WrestleMania', so Edge's use of the term 'Roads to WrestleMania' caught the attention of some online.

Of course, it's quite possible that this wasn't a tease for Cody from Edge, but some fans certainly seem to think that it was.
