Klopp is likely to make wholesale changes from the side that won the Carabao Cup at Wembley on Sunday. Thiago (hamstring) and Roberto Firmino (hamstring) will be absent for this one. Diogo Jota just missed out at the weekend but could be fit enough to feature here.

All players that played 120 minutes in North London are likely to be rested ahead of what is an important stretch of fixtures in the Premier League, where a strong substitutes' bench could be named.

Max Aarons and Brandon Williams are still doubts for the trip to Merseyside, Adam Idah (knee) and Andrew Omobamidele (back) are all sidelined and Grant Hanley is suspended.

Tim Krul and Lukas Rupp could return to action for the Canaries following respective spells out of action and former Liverpool loanee Ozan Kabak played 90 minutes in a training match against Nottingham Forest and is expected to feature.
