Scottish Premiership action is back as league leaders Celtic face off against eight place St Mirren as the business end of the 2021/22 campaign approaches.

The Hoops are three points clear at the top of the standings over arch-rivals Rangers, and head into this one following a disappointing 0-0 draw against Hibernian, following four straight wins.

St Mirren recently appointed Stephen Robinson as their new manager at the end of last month - his return to Scotland following a three-year stint at Motherwell.

Giorgos Giakoumakis is in line to make a return for the hoops following a short period of illness. It remains to be seen whether Matt O'Riley will come in for Tom Rogic.

Jota could be set to hold on to his starting place as Celtic aim to get back to winning ways.

The newly-appointed Robinson will have to contend with the suspension of Connor Ronan who was sent off during their 2-0 defeat at home to Hearts.

Eamonn Brophy is the man expected to fill in his shoes in a side largely unchanged for the trip to Glasgow.
