Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.5 Update: Player Reveals ‘Secret’ Quest

Cyberpunk 2077 Secret

Cyberpunk 2077 has been completely revitalised with the release of the 1.5 Patch, and a player has discovered a ‘secret quest’ in the new patch.

There have been a number of graphical and quality of life changes that have been implemented for the new game, but it seems like there might be other easter eggs scattered around.

It’s pretty easy to miss this ‘secret quest’, but the video added to Reddit gives players an easy way to copy the actions and get some extra eddies.

Here’s everything you need to know about the ‘secret quest’ that was found by a player in Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.5 Update.

A Redditor posted a video to the r/cyberpunkgame Subreddit which shows how players can get some extra eddies in the game.

Players will need to find the specific area of the map by a ladder leading into water. The video shows a woman who appears to be in distress, but it isn’t exactly clear why.

The Redditor who uploaded the video then shows that players need to go underwater to grab a key that is sitting at the bottom.

If players then hand the key to the woman in distress back on the shore, they will be greeted with 1000 credits/eddies and a thank you from the NPC.

It’s a really random little thing for CD Projekt Red to add into the game, and one player in particular actually lambasted the company for adding these smaller elements when they feel the game is still in ‘beta’ mode.

They wrote: “Just pointing out the obvious, putting in secret and cryptic ‘content’ into your game that only a very select few will find and even fewer will enjoy, while your game is still essentially in a beta build and unplayable for many player’s to this day, is a terrible waste of CDPR development time but an even greater waste of player time.

“I’m ashamed that this is the same company who brought us The Witcher games. I’m assuming they lost most of their old talent at this point.”

Still though, most people seemed to enjoy the little interaction.
