If you're ever in need of some real hard truths, Roy Keane is probably the man you should go to.The former Manchester United enforcer made a career out of his no-nonsense approach to dominating the midfield and that hard-as-nails persona spilled over into his broadcasting days.Keane is absolute blockbuster material every time he gets in front of a camera and, despite his grouchiness and sharp tongue, dove-tails beautifully with other pundits. His relationship with Micah Richards has blossomed into one of television's best duos while his exchanges with the likes of Jamie Carragher, Gary Neville and Ian Wright are always worth a watch.Wednesday night was no different as Roy headed to Anfield to cover the FA Cup fifth-round clash between Liverpool and Norwich.Having promptly called Wright 'childish' for his story about touching the famous 'This is Anfield' sign, Keane then turned his ire to Tottenham Hotspur.Roman Abramovich announces sale of Chelsea | The Football Terrace

Antonio Conte's side crashed out of the cup at the hands of Middlesbrough on Tuesday night, consigning the north Londoners to yet another trophy-less season.

Of course, Keane was frightfully unimpressed and let everyone know about it with his summation of the current predicament at Spurs.

“Spurs… Spursy! How many times do we have to say it?", he began.

"Whatever’s in that club’s DNA - the players - there’s a weakness there. It’s really pathetic but I wasn’t surprised. Going up to Middlesbrough in midweek, probably a bit cold. No surprises there.”

Pick the bones out of that, then.

Now, we're by no means suggesting that defeat literally runs through the veins of Spurs' players, but the evidence is overwhelmingly piled against them at this point.

Their incredible victory over Manchester City last month looked like the potential springboard to kickstart their season but they have simply restored factory settings and carried on.

Keane then went onto criticise the talismanic Harry Kane, claiming that he is also responsible for Spurs wretched run of failure.

"That's part of the problem, he's on the pitch, he needs to do more."

Wright then interjected as he rode to the defence of Kane but Keane was having none of it.

Ultimately, the segment ended with a simple statement from Keane:

"It's typical Spurs. You can't trust them."

Too true, Roy. Too true.
