Roberto Carlos video calls Sergio Ramos after playing in Sunday League match

Roberto Carlos played in a Sunday League match for Shrewsbury outfit, Bull in the Barne United, on Friday afternoon.

Bull in the Barne United, who are named after a pub, won a raffle which saw Carlos play a game for the club.

He started on the bench for their game against Harlescott Rangers.

The 48-year-old scored a penalty but it wasn’t enough as Bull in the Barne United fell to a 4-3 loss.

Still, it was a memorable day for both Carlos and the Shropshire side, and they shared a pint in the pub after the game.

A video has now emerged of Carlos video calling former Real Madrid teammate, Sergio Ramos, in the pub after the match.

Those in attendance at the pub gave it the big build-up and it was absolute scenes when Ramos picked up.

The PSG star seemed to be enjoying the reception too as he had a beaming smile on his face.

Carlos spoke to the media after the game and he expressed his joy at turning out for Bull in the Barne United.

“I’m very happy to be back playing,” he said, per Sky News.

“Football is amazing and even though I’ve had the opportunity to play with the biggest names in world football, playing here is very enjoyable. Always good to score a goal!

“A lot of people don’t realise that even though I played with some of the biggest clubs and best players in the world I started ‘here’ in Brazil, at 13, 14 years old. It brings back great memories for me playing on pitches like this.”
