YouTube boxing has taken the world by storm and has become increasingly more popular since the early days of Joe Weller, KSI and Jake Paul began the interest.

It has even reached the point where the Paul brothers are fighting some excellent fighters including Tyron Woodley, Ben Askren and even “Pretty Boy” Floyd Mayweather.

The latest event saw Deji, the brother of KSI, and debutant Alex Wassabi go toe-to-toe in the ring which saw the Londoner lose his third fight in succession.

A slow start to the fight showed the nerves of the two fighters but Deji was first to launch forward and make an attacking move.

Wassabi replied well and forced his more experienced counterpart to clinch, causing Deji to miss at the end of the round.

The fight clearly made fans a bit too excited as it ground to a halt when a fan climbed into the ring.

It was clear that despite the difference in experience and subsequent composure in the ring, that Alex Wassabi was the more dominant fighter, and this was shown with two judges awarding the fight to Alex and one, controversially, to Deji.

It is glaringly obvious that Alex Wassabi used an elbow during the fight which would have seen a point deduction and led to the fight ending in a draw.

Some Alex Wassabi fans have claimed that the strike was an accident, but it does look as though he lead with his elbow with intent to landing a clean connection to stun Deji.

Although it seems unfair that no decision was given, Wassabi will be pleased that the judges missed this altercation.

Deji who fought out of a southpaw stance has vowed that he would no longer fight if he was to complete an unwanted hat-trick of losses.

Saying this, he has tweeted that ‘nothing will keep me down’ – does this suggest he has unfinished business?
