Mike Tyson was one of the greatest boxers of all time and was also one of the hardest-punching heavyweights as well.

Iron Mike became undisputed heavyweight champion of the world at 20 when he knocked out Trevor Berbick in 1986. He still remains the youngest heavyweight in boxing history.

But his hard-hitting power came from when he was an amateur at 16 years of age and in a recent video that emerged online of Tyson dominating Winston Bent in the Empire State Games finals in New York.

Tyson won the fight in the third round when Bent’s mouthpiece was knocked out and then he was sent down to the canvas.

However, during his time as a boxer, Tyson also caused a lot of controversy in his younger years.

His biggest controversy was when he infamously bit Evander Holyfield’s ear in 1997 and was suspended from the sport.

The tweet below mentions that Mike was 14 at the time, but, in reality, he was 16.

Tyson also lived a very luxurious lifestyle and even kept a pet tiger and pigeons in which he loved and took great care of them.

Tyson said on his podcast, Hotboxin’: “When I was a young kid and I was fighting, you know everything was so intense. Oh s*** this and that…

“But in the end it’s just an illusion. It didn’t really matter. It never really existed.”

Tyson’s podcast sees him have a whole host of guests including the likes of Tyson Fury, Eminem, Akon, Snoop Dogg, Piers Morgan and many more.

They discuss things like boxing as well as the career of the celebrities that come on the show.

Not only does Tyson attract great guests onto the podcast but it also gives the chance for the guests to meet Mike, who to some of them, was their hero.
