'Notorious' Conor McGregor has a huge amount of fans across the globe and as is expected a lot of them are wondering when he might get another shot at the 155-pound gold.

It's not likely that will happen anytime soon, as McGregor is currently ranked #13 in the Lightweight division of the company, with his last fight being a loss to Dustin Poirier.

As of writing, Islam Makhachev is the Champion of the 155-pound division of the company, and he is regarded as the best Lightweight fighter on the roster.

Makhachev was able to defeat Charles Oliveira to take the gold, and it was a dominant performance from the protege of one of the greatest UFC fighters ever: Khabib Nurmagomedov.
