Young Man Utd fan who slated club’s players in 2019 goes viral again after Man City loss

Manchester United were thrashed by Manchester City in their Premier League clash at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Kevin De Bruyne’s opener gave the league leaders the lead after just five minutes.

United battled back and Jadon Sancho’s curler in the 22nd minute restored parity.

But City quickly restored the lead as De Bruyne netted his second of the game. City were dominant in the second half, with a brace from Riyad Mahrez giving them a 4-1 victory.

It was a disappointing display by United. They were truly outclassed by their fierce rivals.

A video of a young United fan slating their players has gone viral again following the result.

In June 2019, a youngster appeared on ITV news.

United had just finished a disappointing sixth in the Premier League and finished the 2018/19 campaign without silverware.

The youngster was asked who he supported. After replying with United, the youngster was asked who his favourite player was.

He answered: “None. They are all rubbish.”

Ouch. Just over two-and-a-half years have passed since then. Given their performances this season, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the youngster had exactly the same answer to that question.

In fact, given their fortunes in recent times, the youngster may have given up on supporting United altogether.

United are now fifth in the Premier League table and it’s looking increasingly likely that they will not be playing in next season’s Champions League.

They are one point behind Arsenal, having played three games more.

United could also fall behind Tottenham Hotspur should they win their games-in-hand.

The Red Devils next Premier League game comes against Spurs on Saturday.

A loss and United’s hopes of qualifying for Europe’s premier cup competition may be over.
