The former World’s Strongest man hit back after Joe Rogan criticised his fighting ability in a scathing assessment.Hall is due to fight Hafthor Bjornsson or Thor this weekend in what promises to be one of the craziest boxing matches ever seen.Despite both men putting in serious training and dramatic body transformations, not everyone is convinced by their boxing style. Podcaster and UFC commentator Joe Rogan was far from impressed with what he saw from Hall:“That’s not good. Right away we’re seeing that we have a real problem,” Rogan said, after watching footage of the Englishman training.“Yeah, this is terrible. He’s very rudimentary, but also you see that his body is very stiff.“Looking at him sparring there, he’s just not moving so good… This is super stiff. He’s throwing these punches with his arms. These are arm punches, almost like he shouldn’t be hitting things.”

The 34-year-old and Rogan fan has responded to the criticism, defending his boxing ability.

“Look, people can speculate, they can make assumptions, they can guess, they can do whatever they want, but I’m knocking Thor out. There’s no doubt in my mind. So, people can say whatever they want,” Hall said.

“I take no offence to Joe Rogan’s comments. He’s an experienced guy, he knows what he’s talking about, but he doesn’t know the full picture. You look at a few clips, you can’t make assumptions from that.

“It doesn’t bother me in the slightest, it doesn’t put me off.”

The feud started in 2017 when Bjornsson accused Hall of cheating in that year’s strongman competition, and since then it has developed into a unique fight that will take place in Dubai.

Both fighters have lost considerable weight for the fight, slimming down from their strongman bodies needed for competitions.

Hall has shed around 40kg whilst Bjornsson has lost around 60kg. With both fighters owning mind-blowing punching power, it promises to be a memorable fight.
