The former Worldâs Strongest man hit back after Joe Rogan criticised his fighting ability in a scathing assessment.Hall is due to fight Hafthor Bjornsson or Thor this weekend in what promises to be one of the craziest boxing matches ever seen.Despite both men putting in serious training and dramatic body transformations, not everyone is convinced by their boxing style. Podcaster and UFC commentator Joe Rogan was far from impressed with what he saw from Hall:âThatâs not good. Right away weâre seeing that we have a real problem,â Rogan said, after watching footage of the Englishman training.âYeah, this is terrible. Heâs very rudimentary, but also you see that his body is very stiff.âLooking at him sparring there, heâs just not moving so good⦠This is super stiff. Heâs throwing these punches with his arms. These are arm punches, almost like he shouldnât be hitting things.â
The 34-year-old and Rogan fan has responded to the criticism, defending his boxing ability.
âLook, people can speculate, they can make assumptions, they can guess, they can do whatever they want, but Iâm knocking Thor out. Thereâs no doubt in my mind. So, people can say whatever they want,â Hall said.
âI take no offence to Joe Roganâs comments. Heâs an experienced guy, he knows what heâs talking about, but he doesnât know the full picture. You look at a few clips, you canât make assumptions from that.
âIt doesnât bother me in the slightest, it doesnât put me off.â
The feud started in 2017 when Bjornsson accused Hall of cheating in that yearâs strongman competition, and since then it has developed into a unique fight that will take place in Dubai.
Both fighters have lost considerable weight for the fight, slimming down from their strongman bodies needed for competitions.
Hall has shed around 40kg whilst Bjornsson has lost around 60kg. With both fighters owning mind-blowing punching power, it promises to be a memorable fight.
