Fikayo Tomori: One of football's most intelligent players?

Tomori was named as one of football’s most intelligent players by The Sun last year.

Rather than spending time on the PlayStation, the defender used lockdown in 2020 to spend time working towards a degree in business management from the Open University.

"When this all came about I had three or four assignments left," Tomori told Sky Sports, per the Evening Standard. "So when football stopped I just saw it as a chance to focus, get it all done and give myself a bit of breathing space.

"That is all done now, so I am a bit more bored. It is something that I thought would help me with my focus, my mind, on and off the pitch. It keeps me out of trouble as well!

"I've never really been a gamer. I've always been, I like to think, pretty intelligent, that is just me as a person.

"I like to engage my brain and keep it ticking, keep myself focused and give me something to do away from football."
