Another exciting match is taking place in the UEFA Champions League tonight, as we have the second leg of Manchester City vs Sporting Lisbon taking place. Here's everything you need to know before kick-off.

Sporting Lisbon fans won't be optimistic heading into this one, they suffered an absolute drubbing in front of their home fans in the first leg at the Estadio Jose Alvalade, goals from Riyad Mahrez, Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden and Raheem Sterling in a 5-0 victory for the Citizens have all but ensured their progression to the quarter-finals.

However - this is the Champions League, and anythings possible as we very well know - so it'll still be interesting to see how this one plays out.

Manchester City come into this fixture in fine form, still riding the high of the derby win against Manchester United - where they tore the Red Devils to shreds at the Etihad. They'll be looking to do the same again tonight.

Sporting recently suffered a bitter defeat to league rivals, FC Porto, in the first leg of a cup semi-final. Despite winning their last game, the Lisbon-based side will still be nursing their wounds and will be looking to bounce back and hopefully rejuvenate their season.

Pep Guardiola faces some problems in this fixture, with Kyle Walker suspended and Joao Cancelo recovering from illness, meaning the right-back slot is uncertain.

John Stones could slot in here, making way for the 18-year-old Luke Mbete-Tabu to make his Champions League debut for the club at centre-half, with Nathan Ake also forced to the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

As for Sporting Lisbon, they're also missing some of their best players - with tricky winger Pedro Goncalves forced out through injury, as well as Joao Palhinha - which are both huge losses for Sporting.

Despite Pep Guardiola's side having some injury problems, Sporting Lisbon do too - meaning there shouldn't be anything else than a City win tonight.

We don't think it'll be as bad as the first leg, but we predict a comfortable Manchester City home victory.
