The 2021/22 season has seen Bukayo Saka evolve into one of the most feared forwards in world football.Prior to the start of the campaign, the Arsenal man was held in high regard by most football fans and was also a key member of England's squad that reached the final of Euro 2020.But this season Saka really has taken his game to another level and no player under the age of 21 has more goal contributions in the Premier League than his total of 13 (8G, 5A) at the time of writing.What makes the 20-year-old's improvement in 2021/22 even more remarkable is the fact that he's had to bounce back from one of the toughest things a footballer can go through - missing a crucial penalty in a major international final.Saka saw his spot kick saved by Gianluigi Donnarumma in the Euro 2020 final, a failure that resulted in Italy winning the tournament.The Arsenal man was unfortunately subjected to horrific racist abuse online in the aftermath and many were rightly fearful over how the talented winger would cope with it all.But Saka hasn't let the situation derail his hugely promising career at all and the player himself has to be praised to the rafters for that.One man who's summed it all up quite perfectly is famous Manchester United fan, Mark Goldbridge.A video of the social media personality giving a rather passionate speech about Saka's 'elite mentality' has picked up a lot of attention and it's very easy to see why.Take a look at the footage here...

Goldbridge says: "Saka's had a fantastic season. Last summer, England were in a Euros final at Wembley and he missed a penalty.

"Now look, the abuse he got was disgusting and awful, but take it back to football. He's 20 years of age, he misses a penalty in a massive final with the whole world watching, what does he do?

"He goes and has his best ever season in an Arsenal shirt and takes a team that's got no right to be in a race for top four, into a race for top four.

"Whatever he's done, or whoever is around him, I can only applaud it. Whether that's Arteta, his family, his friends, his agent, the club, himself.

"To come from that adversity and do your job, that's what United players should be doing. We don't have enough players like that.

"It's an Arsenal player, it's not nice to say it, but his mentality this season - whatever happens with Arsenal - his mentality from the to now, is elite.

"And if he maintains that - and I hope he does - he's going to be a fantastic player. Because there's talent and then there's mentality.

"We know of loads of players who've got the talent but don't have the mentality. Unfortunately, if you dropped Saka into a Manchester United side he'd be our best player this season, because so many of our players have failed in that mentality area."

Fair play, Mark.

It's not easy to lavish praise on a rival player like that, but what Saka has done at the very highest level in 2021/22 really is special and it's hard to envisage a world in which he doesn't reach the very, very top of the game.
