Kylian Mbappe scores stunning counterattack goal for PSG vs Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappe might just be the best footballer in the world right now.

The Paris Saint-Germain superstar has matured into a bona fide superstar in recent years and it’s why Real Madrid are so desperate to sign him.

Another reason Los Blancos want to get to the 23-year-old on board is to prevent him from inflicting damage on them in the Champions League, like he did once again on Wednesday evening.

After scoring a stoppage-time winner against Real Madrid at the Parc des Princes three weeks ago, Mbappe came up clutch in the Bernabeu with a scintillating counterattack goal to put PSG 2-0 up on aggregate.

The Frenchman picked up the ball from well outside the penalty area off of Neymar‘s wonderful lofted pass and drove at the home team’s stretched back-line.

David Alaba understandably backed off and then in an instant, the ball was in the back of the net courtesy of an extraordinarily clever finish from Mbappe, who shaped to go one way and then went the other to completely deceive Thibaut Courtois.

How on earth do you cope with Mbappe in full flow?! The kid is a Ballon d’Or winner in the making if ever we’ve seen one and the most devastating footballer on the planet right now – yes, even over Robert Lewandowski and Mohamed Salah.

The former AS Monaco man had a goal ruled out shortly before he broke the deadlock in the Spanish capital, as Nuno Mendes was found to have been offside in the build-up following a VAR check.
