Big E and Kofi Kingston were facing Sheamus and Ridge Holland when the latter hit a belly-to-belly suplex on E outside of the ring, which saw him land awkwardly on the top of his head.
A whole 129kg coming down on his neck saw the American stretchered away, and it was later confirmed that he had in fact broken his neck.
The former Intercontinental champion has since posted a 30-second video on his Twitter to let everybody know he is okay, and he delivered the message in classic Big E fashion, which is a testament to his personality and character.
He starts the clip by saying he “can’t thank all you beautiful people enough for your concern and the messages are heartwarming.”
He then goes on to say: “I can move all my digits, that’s nice, that’s always a good sign and my strength feels fine.
“But unfortunately, they tell me my neck is broken, so there’s that.”
He finishes the video by saying he will be alright and not to worry about him.
Despite having a broken neck, E sounded in a good mood and looked in a stable condition.
He joked that everyone should not worry about him and he cracked a smile or two during the video.
It’s glad to see that Big E is doing okay!
