Aaron Ramsdale has become a fan favourite at the Emirates Stadium since he arrived at Arsenal last summer.

While many were sceptical at Arsenal’s decision to sign the 23-year-old goalkeeper for £25.2 million, Ramsdale has no doubt proved his doubters wrong this season.

Impressing with his elite athleticism, exceptional ball control and his excellent goalkeeping abilities, the shot-stopper has risen to become one of the best ‘keepers in the league.

He has now racked up an impressive 11 clean sheets this season, which puts him in third place behind Alisson Becker and Ederson in the Premier League’s clean sheet rankings.

Ramsdale has also produced some incredible saves during the campaign and one of his best performances came in the Gunners' 3-1 win over Tottenham at the start of the season, where supporters fell in love with his sublime touch and cat-like reflexes.

But as many Gunners' fans will tell you, it's his energy and general attitude to the club, which is why he has become one of Arsenal's most loved players this season.

And his brilliant charisma has been evidenced in a video posted on Twitter by @afcstuff, which shows Ramsdale dishing out the banter to his teammates, as he and Rob Holding compare the FIFA 22 stats of different players at the club.

Hilariously, the goalkeeper was also quick to mock Holding's FIFA card, which has gone up by two points from last year, stating: "That hair transplant done you wonders!"

To which the defender responds: "It's just based on looks, innit?!"

Savage stuff from Arsenal's first choice 'keeper.

Ramsdale's insane passing stats

The interview moves on to talk about which of Mikel Arteta's players has the best passing stats in the game.

Holding immediately points to his teammate before reciting a story of when he first encountered Ramsdale during an away match at Bramall Lane, which justifies why he thinks the 'keeper is one of the best passers in the team.

Calling the 'keeper's passing "unbelievable," Holding says: "When I first played against him, we were playing Sheffield away, and I had [David] Mcgoldrick right in front of me.

"They were doing a goal kick and he [Ramsdale] just zings one like 70 yards along the floor, straight to Mcgoldrick's feet.

"I was thinking, didn't expect that!"

While the defender was obviously enamoured at the sublime piece of accuracy from the former Blades' goalkeeper, he was even more captivated at his ability to replicate the same piece of skill again in the following passage of play.

Take a look at the clip below...

"We carry on playing," Holding continues. "And about ten minutes later, the exact same thing happens again.

"I was there like: 'Oh that's ridiculous, he's just done that twice.'"

Holding then turns to his teammate and, jesting with the 'keeper, says: "That's how you got your move to Arsenal, mate!"

And what a move that turned out to be for both Ramsdale and the north London club, with the 'keeper's outstanding run of form now putting him in a great position to challenge Jordan Pickford for the England No.1 jersey at the World Cup later this year.
