Last weekend, Ronaldo reportedly left Manchester for Portugal against being excluded from the starting line-up to face Manchester City.
However, it seems the break – and the headlines that followed – did him the world of good.
Ronaldo’s three goals helped United to a crucial three points as they look to qualify for the Champions League next season.
Watching Ronaldo do what he does best was NFL legend, Tom Brady.
And after the match, the Portuguese superstar and Brady caught up at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo tweeted: “Always a pleasure and a privilege to share some thoughts and ideas with another GOAT…”

Is Ronaldo calling himself the greatest footballer of all time? It certainly seems that way.
There will be plenty of football fans that agree with him. One of them is Piers Morgan.
The celebrity is a big Ronaldo fan and is often claiming he’s the greatest player ever.
And he’s done so once again in his column in The Sun.
In the column, he attempts to argue why Ronaldo is greater than eternal rival, Lionel Messi and concludes “Cristiano Ronaldo’s now out on his own as the greatest footballer to ever play the game.”
However, he didn’t stop there. In fact, he went as far as naming the top 10 players he’s ever seen in his lifetime.
Of course, Ronaldo was No.1 but who else has got Morgan’s approval?

Let’s take a look:
10. Paolo Maldini
9. Zinedine Zidane
8. Thierry Henry
6. George Best
3. Lionel Messi
2. Diego Maradona
- Cristiano Ronaldo
As mentioned, Ronaldo is obviously No.1 but it’s not Messi who is No.2. Instead, fellow Argentine the late Diego Maradona is the second greatest player ever according to Morgan.
Brazilian duo Ronaldinho and Ronaldo make up the top five.
George Best and Pele come next before Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry. Morgan, of course, is a big Gooner.
Zidane and Maldini complete Morgan’s top 10.
