WWE 2K22 has been released to critical acclaim and one of the standout modes in the new game is Showcase Mode, which charts Rey Mysterio’s journey from WCW to WWE, where he became a multiple-time world champion.
But what exactly can you unlock from the mode, when you’re 619’ing your way to victory?
It’s a good question and there are, indeed, a plethora of unlockables available through the mode, which will see you going face-to-face with the likes of Shawn Michaels, Eddie Guerrero, and JBL.
It’s a really cool insight into Rey’s career and he also provides in-depth interviews on his matches, along with commentary at times.
For fans of Mysterio, there are few better ways to spend a couple of hours, as you’ll also be able to familiarise yourself with the new, redesigned control system in the game.
Here, we’ll go through every single unlockable in Showcase Mode, so you know exactly what you’ll be getting.
You can pick and choose which matches you want to play; so you can go from his match with Eddie in WCW straight to his bout with JBL in WWE, should you so wish.

Every WWE 2K22 Showcase Mode unlockable
The first match that pops up for you is the one against Eddie at Halloween Havoc but, as we’ve said, you can jump around in time, as all of the matches are immediately available to play.
We’ll break them down in the order they appear in the Showcase Mode menu.
It should also be said here that certain unlockables can be achieved by finishing and winning the match, while others need to be unlocked by completing in-match objectives. They’re all pretty easy, and you can unlock arenas, wrestlers, and championships.
